This activity report summarizes activities of the Africa Disaster Risk Financing (ADRF) Initiative, also known as Result Area 5, from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.
It gives an overview of the achievements to date across its three operational components:
- Creating the enabling data environment for risk financing
- Supporting countries in developing risk financing strategies
- Facilitating regional risk financing and knowledge sharing initiatives and identifies upcoming priorities and challenges
