Introspection is a performance presented as a fusion of two folk artworks – a traditional folk theater called Ojapalo from Assam, India and a Paitkar scroll painting traditional of Jharkhand, India. Merging these art forms into a single work, the artists sought to explore the human-environment relationship in a way that would resonate with those local to Assam and Jharkhand, locations particularly vulnerable to climate impacts.
