The objective of this grant activity is to enhance the design of ongoing and pipeline investment projects in urban flood resilience, post-disaster recovery, and multi-hazard early warning systems to better protect vulnerable people in Indonesia, including diverse groups of all ages, abilities, and genders. Grant activities include: (a) technical analysis of policy frameworks, capacities, and regulatory systems in select cities for social inclusion and adaptive social protection for DRM; (b) institutional strengthening of participatory planning through operational guidance on community preparedness and social protection programs; and (c) a capacity building program on gender-based violence (GBV) in post-disaster contexts to safeguard social protection, especially for women and children.
