Stories of Impact: Integrating Disaster Resilience in Public Procurement System in Saint Lucia.

The Government of St. Lucia presents their efforts to strengthen the public procurement system. Significant public spending takes place through the public procurement system and the government wants to ensure that money is used effectively and achieves value for money in the delivery of public services, specifically when responding to disasters, including pandemics. The reform program stems from findings of the Post-Disaster Public Financial Management review, conducted by the World Bank as part of Canada Caribbean Resilience Facility.
