Since 2010, the Government of Tanzania, with the assistance of the World Bank, has implemented 4 projects (DMDP, TSCP, ULGSP, ZUSP) in the amount of US$991 million, to transform Tanzania’s growing cities – from mobility and connectivity to climate resilience, and from community upgrading to solid waste management, helping cities become centers for growth and jobs.
