Tropical Cyclone Seroja Post-Disaster Assessment and Support to Resilience Building

The objective of the grant is to provide technical assistance to the Government of Timor-Leste on disaster risk reduction and preparedness; and to provide advisory services on damage assessments and resilient recovery planning following recent disaster events.This grant supported the Government of Timor-Leste’s post-disaster damage assessment following a cycloneSeroja by conducting a remote assessment, focusing on impacts in the key sectors of housing, transport, andagriculture. The grant will also address longer-term needs for risk reduction investments and emergency preparedness by delivering technical assessments and capacity building activities.
