Supporting Recovery and Resilience in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

The Caribbean RRB Facility has been helping Caribbean countries develop coherent risk financing strategies to enhance financial preparedness. This requires a solid understanding of country contexts, including in Barbados and Saint Lucia where specific analytical tools have helped governments make informed disaster risk financing decisions. National-level engagements are combined with efforts to mainstream core disaster risk financing principles throughout the region, including through a partnership with the University of the West Indies to develop practical courses that can easily disseminate good practices and lessons learned in the Caribbean and beyond.
