This document presents the Sectoral Recovery Capacity Assessment (SRCA), a methodological approach to assess the capacity of key national sectors in Caribbean countries to implement recovery projects in a timely, efficient and effective manner. The assessment was developed as a tool to identify solutions to capacity issues that could delay the implementation of recovery projects. Results of the SRCA are expected to benefit national governments, sectoral stakeholders, national DRM agencies and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) in their efforts to enable a rapid and effective recovery in the aftermath of disasters. Recommendations resulting from the assessment will also inform the design and implementation of recovery capacity activities lead and funded by national governments, international organizations and other stakeholders.
