Responsible Artificial Intelligence for Disaster Risk Management

The Responsible AI for DRM working group summary, a product of collaborative and ongoing dialogue by the  Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) together with Deltares and the University of Toronto, highlights the ethics and responsibility concerns in AI- and ML-supported projects, such as algorithmic bias, transparency and privacy issues, and reduced roles for local participation and expert judgment.
