Disaster Risk Financing & Analytics: A Practitioner’s Guide

This report provides an overview of the training collaboration project between The University of the West Indies Open Campus (UWIOC), the World Bank and its partners to facilitate learning in Disaster Risk Financing & Analytics. This pilot workshop represents Phase 1 of a potential wider undertaking and was designed to determine the demand for the training area. The experiences and feedback from the Pilot training may be used by the project partners to inform the development of a Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) course within The University of the West Indies (UWI) system. The details of the next Phase are subject to further discussion between the World Bank and UWI.
