This document provides a brief overview of the Challenge Fund program - a special initiative of the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) and the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID)  that seeks to bridge the gap between technology and on-the-ground user needs in the field of disaster risk identification.
