The Program Development Objective (PDO) is to is to support countries
in their disaster risk management efforts to provide better evidence-based
decision-making tools, knowledge and information. The PDO is organized around
a) rapid post-disaster impact assessments (mainly focused on GRADE), b)
exposure modeling of the built environment, c) disaster risk quantification;
and d) sector focused analytics on economics of resilience. This will be
achieved through partnerships with World Bank operational teams and other
stakeholders leveraging their on the ground presence, skills, and financing.
