8th Meeting of GFDRR's Consultative Group (By invitation only)

The 8th CG meeting will mark an important step forward for GFDRR’s mission in accelerating the implementation of the Hyogo Framework of Action (HFA) on disaster risk reduction (DRR) issues given the recent results achieved by the facility to increase human security and prosperity through comprehensive national DRR programs, particularly at the country level. Additionally this will be the first CG meeting since CG members have formally endorsed the formal participation of nominated developing countries to participate in CG meetings. This meeting will present an exceptional opportunity for members and partners to foster new thinking, exchange views and develop strategic solutions for the GDRR moving forward.
