The World Bank hosted its 5th Resilience Dialogue in Washington.

On October 11, 2013, policy makers attending the WBG-IMF Annual Meetings will meet for the fifth round of the Resilience Dialogue series. Exploring the impacts of disasters on poverty dynamics as well as the opportunities of resilience for poverty reduction, the speakers will highlight the need to invest in resilience to achieve poverty reduction and shared prosperity goals.
