This partnership between the European Union, the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States, and the World Bank Group/Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery, has worked with African Regional Economic Communities to lay the groundwork for increased regional cooperation and resilience in preparing for and responding to disasters.
From 2011 to 2021, the ACP-EU NDRR Program worked with countries across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific to prioritize Disaster Risk Management policies and strengthen resilience to climate change and natural hazards.
