Cameroon: Emergency Flood Assessment and Rehabilitation Planning

Around end of August and the beginning of September 2012, heavy rains affected the Northern regions of Cameroun.

This project aimed to help the Government of Camberoon to develop a plan and identify key measures to prevent dike collapse and to rehabilitate water-related infrastructure to reduce future risks. Another objective was to strengthen the capaciyt of local and national government agencies to prepare for, and respond to, future flood events through strengthened emergency preparedness and contingency planning.
