The objective of this grant is to support the strengthening of disaster risk financing
(DRF) in Angola, Mauritius and Senegal while facilitating the policy dialogue
for the preparation of potential contingent financing operations. To achieve this, the grant
will support: (i) identification of policy and institutional actions that are
deemed critical to achieving the objectives of a disaster risk management
program; (ii) policy dialogue with the Government and different stakeholders to
contribute to policy reforms important for improved disaster risk management; and
(iii) analytical work to inform the policy changes and Country Partnership
Framework, as relevant in each country.
