The objective of this grant is to strengthen
the technical capacity of the Government of Mozambique in designing, piloting
and evaluating shock-responsive social protection (SP) instruments, including
the support in setting an adequate normative framework, financing and budgetary
processes, and operational protocols for SP functions that are coherent under
the DRM policy setting. This Project Objective
is nested within the existing collaboration between the DRM and SPJ sectors
towards an effective disaster response and early recovery system as well as building
measures to strengthen the socioeconomic resiliency of Mozambican households.
