The project will support the Buildings Department with technical
assistance to strengthen the building code in the informal sector, advance the
legislative instruments to enforce the building code and support the
institutionalization of the regulations. The project will also work with the
Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DoDMA), Department of Climate Change
and Meteorological Services (DCCMS) and the Department of Water Resources (DWR)
to strengthen forecasting and early warning capacity and support the uptake of
resilient information into infrastructure planning.
