Under the recently approved Fourth Phase Central Asia Regional Links (CARS-4) Project, the feasibility study and detailed design is being carried out, including measures to address risks from climate change and disasters such as river floods, landslides and avalanches. The grant aims to strengthen the design of the road sections under CARs-4, including through drawing from relevant international experiences and latest techniques, and to promote
transport resilience in a systematic manner across the country.
