The objective of the proposed grant, as a continuation to support the implementation of the Cat DDO Program, is to strengthen the management of disaster and climate-related risk to build fiscal and territorial resilience to adverse natural events. The project has two specific objectives, corresponding to its two main components:1. To support the National Institute of Territorial Planning (INGT) of Cabo Verde in the development and implementation of an Open-Source Spatial Data Infrastructure platform (SDI) for the efficient management of geospatial data, including hazard and risk data across public agencies, ministries, and institutions and continue promoting the use of disaster and climate-related risk information in the design and preparation of territorial planning instruments.2. To continue the technical support to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) in the operationalization of the Risk Management Service and National Emergency Fund.
