The proposed project aims to support the Government of Saint Lucia in
strengthening the application of disaster risk management (DRM) tools in
decision-making processes and within critical infrastructure investments. In particular, support will be provided to help ensure that investment activities aimed at improving roads, bridges, community centers, and hospital infrastructure effectively consider
and address disaster risk in planning, design, construction and maintenance practices. Activities will also assist in the development and management of open data platforms and will strengthen efforts to improve hydro-meteorological networks and systems.
