The objective is to strengthen the implementation of the gender equality agenda for disaster risk ma management in Central America, including: (i) contributing to the application of the Central American Policy of Integral Management of Disaster Risk (PCGIR), the Regional Policy for Gender Equality and Equity (Pillar 3 of Comprehensive Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation) and the Sendai Framework for Action; and (ii) preparing technical and analytical documents to support the implementation of social inclusion and gender initiatives in the COVID-19 response in Central America in coordination with CEPREDENAC.
