Strengthening Coastal Resilience in Vietnam: Coastal Protection Program

The development objective of this technical
assistance (TA) program is to support
the preparation of a $300 million IBRD Vietnam Coastal Resilience Multi-Phased Approach
Program – Phase 1 Investment Project. Specifically, grant activities will support
the (i) identification and preliminary design of priority coastal protection
infrastructures in the selected provinces; (ii) identification and formulation
of preliminary design of nature-based coastal protection interventions; (iii) development
of the preliminary design for an information system and Disaster Command Center;
and, (iv) support policy dialogues, workshops and consultations.
