The objective of this grant is to enhance the capacity within Bhutan to strengthen information management and develop disaster risk assessments to allow for resilience related information driven planning and decision support in key agencies. This will include strengthening capacity for mapping hazards, collecting data on exposure, and conducting sectoral vulnerability assessments. This activity will also support capacity and technical assistance for improved coordination and information sharing among relevant agencies for disaster and climate resilience. This TA is supporting the design of the multi-hazard risk based decision support system which will be implemented under the Client Executed small grant project on Bhutan – PPCR: Strengthening Risk Information for Disaster Resilience in Bhutan (P175081).
