The objective is to strengthen the capacity of relevant ministries and agencies in Samoa to (i) implement building codes for climate resilient housing and (ii) improve multi-hazard early warning system.This work has contributed towards the preparation of policy
actions for a Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Development Policy Operation with
Catastrophe-Deferred Drawdown Option (CAT-DDO) which was approved in 2018.
