The proposed development objective is to enhance resilience to climate and disaster risks in South Asia through knowledge exchange, leveraging regional and global best practices, and encouraging emerging solutions. The project aims to achieve this by improving capacity, informing ongoing engagements as well as generating new ones. The aim is to deepen assistance to governments in South Asia
to reduce disaster risks through priority infrastructure sectors developed most
successfully during Phase One, namely the Transport and Water sectors.
