The objective of this grant is to develop an investment conceptual design
for the New Generation Africa Hydromet Program, building on the lessons learnt from the West
Africa Hydromet Program Phase 1 preparation currently on hold (P166987),
and country investments in the region (such as Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger). The TA takes into account the recent evolution of discussion on public, private and academic engagement in hydromet services given the fact that private-sector actors are playing a growingly
important role along with the academic sector in hyromet value chains.
