The project objective is to support the multi-hazard resilience of critical
infrastructure with a focus on the interdependency of water and power supplies in
the city of Yangon, Myanmar. This objective is achieved through (i) multi-hazard lifeline water supply infrastructure vulnerability and capacity assessment, which examines the physical, operational, institutional & end-user resilience of Yangon’s water & power supply networks and (ii)identification of critical investment options for lifelines, which scopes soft- and hard-
measures to improve the resiliency of selected lifeline infrastructure assets.
