The activity will
provide technical assistance to the Government of Mexico to improve readiness
and adaptability of housing programs to disasters and climate change related
events, including by i) providing best practices and capacity building related to rapid response mechanisms in the event of disasters; ii) inform national policy framework to increase housing resilience, including through a review of the Operational Rules of the National Housing Program; and iii) propose a methodology for the assessment of the suitability of land for construction and development.
