The development objective of this technical assistance is to
promote investments in resilient infrastructure in selected at-risk areas in
Greater Banjul, and specifically to provide a robust framework for supporting
urban and coastal disaster risk reduction measures.

Activities and outputs include:

(1)
Mapping of Greater Banjul and Assessing
Subsidence: Output will include adequate Digital Elevation Model over Greater
Banjul and land subsidence map of Greater Banjul;

(2)
Greater Banjul Flood and Coastal Risk Assessment
and Investment Planning: Output will consist of flood risk mapping for Greater
Banjul, storm surge and sea level rise inundation maps for the coastal area,
and recommendations for risk mitigation investments, assessing both structural
and non-structural measures;

(3)
Data Management and Dissemination: Output will
include a well-organized digital database of relevant spatial and tabulated
dataset and publication of a project report.
