The objective is to assess and compile lessons learned from the
design and implementation of community-led projects incorporating climate and disaster
resilience in the Pacific. Based on
this assessment, recommended ways forward for future community-based climate and disaster
resilience engagements will be generated. The grant will do so by analyzing (a) the process to engage communities vulnerable to climate and disaster risk, (b) the process of selection for community-led investment as well as (c) approaches to mainstream climate and disaster resilience into community-led projects, and the degree to which they appear to have succeeded in building resilience.
