The objective of the Grant financed study is to deepen understandings of social resilience to climate change at
the community-level in Pacific island states, drawing directly on experiences of individuals, groups and households from Solomon Islands. The research findings will assist in the implementation of World Bank-financed rural and urban service delivery operations in the Pacific region, including the Solomon Islands Integrated Economic Development and Community Resilience Project, which is being financed by the International Development Association (IDA) under IDA-19, and inform the strategies and design of community-based interventions.
