The objective is to deepen
understandings of social resilience to climate change at the community-level in
Pacific island states, drawing directly on experiences of households from
Solomon Islands. It is anticipated that the research findings will assist in the
implementation of World Bank-financed rural and urban service delivery
operations and inform the strategies and design of community-based
interventions – both those implemented by the World Bank and others – across the
Pacific region.
