The objective of this grant is to
support the development of standardized input of disaster and climate-related
risk information from the Africa DRM team to inform Systematic Country
Diagnostics (SCD) and Country Partnership Frameworks (CPF) under preparation.
This is to be achieved through the compilation of risk information and
benchmark of African countries based on their disaster and climate-related
risk context to be able to understand the challenges (and opportunities) they face in their path to
the WBG twin goals. The grant is structured in three complementary components to achieve its objective: Component 1: Development of a standard note/brief to inform SCDs. Component 2: Collection of data and benchmark. Component 3: Study cases for selected countries.
