Building Resilience to Natural Hazards in the Valley of Mexico

The
objectives of the proposed grant are two: i) to support the National Water
Agency (CONAGUA in Spanish) and Mexico City’s Water Utility (SACMEX in Spanish)
in the formulation of a Water Security and Resilience Strategy for the Valley
of Mexico, and ii) to conduct an economic analysis of the proposed
interventions stemming from (i) and that are part of the lending operation with
the incorporation of resilience to climate and natural hazards.
