Donors support GFDRR in its shared mission to help developing countries reduce their vulnerability to natural hazards and adapt to climate change. Since its inception in September 2006, donors have expressed their confidence in the GFDRR partnership by entrusting over $540 million in pledges and contributions for fulfilling its mandate.
